Do you ship to neighbor islands?
Yes we do ship to the neighboring islands C.O.D. via Young Brothers. The turfgrass is strapped on a pallet and shipped in a refrigerated container.

When is the best time to install sod here in Hawaii?

How is the sod sold?
Our sod is sold by the square foot. Our pieces are 2 feet by 4 feet in size or 8 square feet pieces.

The amount of sunlight and personal prefernce plays a big factor in determining what grass to select for your project. Do I need to prep my soil?
Soil preparation is the key to a healthy beautiful lawn. This includes weed removal, tilling, addition of soil, leveling, rolling before and after you sod your lawn.
Do I really need topsoil?

Does different grass grow better in different parts of the island?
Sunlight plays a big factor with grass. In general turf grass needs 6 or more hours of direct sunlight to thrive. Shade tolerant turf grasses are available and can thrive with 4 hours or more of sunlight. The more sunlight your area and grass receives, the healthier it will be.
